- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 ounces pepperoni, diced
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, diced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
- 2 In a large bowl, combine beef, pork, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently with your hands.
- 3 Scoop out a golf ball-sized portion of the mixture, flatten it, place a few pieces of diced pepperoni and mozzarella in the center, and wrap the meat around the filling to form a ball.
- 4 Repeat until all the mixture is used, forming 12 meatballs.
- 5 Place meatballs in a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
- 6 Bake for 25 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
- 7 Serve hot with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
