- 12 oz frozen broccoli florets
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Optional: Red pepper flakes for garnish

- 1 Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- 2 While pasta cooks, steam frozen broccoli in the microwave according to package instructions or in a steamer basket.
