- 2 cans (28 oz each) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp dried oregano

- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

- 1 Cook the penne according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
