- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cans (28 oz each) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Steps
- 1 Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- 2 While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
