- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons gochujang paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 scallions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 400°F.
- 2 In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and sesame oil.
- 3 Pat chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper.
- 4 Heat vegetable oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken skin-side down for 4 minutes.
- 5 Flip thighs, brush generously with gochujang mixture, and transfer skillet to the oven.
- 6 Bake for 18-20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- 7 Remove from oven, sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions.
- 8 Serve immediately.
