- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1/2 lime
Steps
- 1 Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- 2 Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- 3 Stir in garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder, cooking for 1 minute.
