- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Powdered sugar for garnish
Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
- 2 Layer half the bread cubes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- 3 Sprinkle with 1 cup of blueberries.
- 4 In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and nutmeg.
- 5 Pour mixture evenly over bread.
- 6 Layer remaining bread and blueberries.
- 7 Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- 8 Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- 9 Bake, covered, for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake another 15 minutes.
- 10 Let stand 5 minutes before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
