Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
- 2 Cook ziti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- 3 In a large bowl, mix ricotta, 1/2 cup mozzarella, 1/4 cup Parmesan, egg, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- 4 In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce on the bottom.

- 6 Repeat layers with remaining ziti and cheese mixture, ending with a layer of marinara sauce.
- 7 Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- 8 Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 9 Let stand for 10 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
