- 12 oz ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
- 2 Cook ziti according to package instructions; drain.
- 3 In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, salt, and pepper.
- 4 Layer half the pasta in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- 5 Spread half the marinara sauce over the pasta.
- 6 Dot with half the ricotta mixture.
- 7 Repeat layers ending with mozzarella cheese on top.
- 8 Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
