- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices Italian bread
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
- 2 In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- 3 Form mixture into 12 meatballs.
- 4 Place meatballs in a baking dish, spoon marinara sauce over them, and bake for 20 minutes.
