- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
- 2 In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, garlic, green onions, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper if using.
- 3 Gently stuff the mushroom caps with the mixture, pressing down lightly.
- 4 Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each stuffed mushroom.
- 5 Place mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 6 Bake for 12-15 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- 7 For extra crunch, sprinkle sesame seeds on top during the last 2 minutes of baking.
