- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups raw pecans
Steps
- 1 In a heavy saucepan, combine sugars, cream, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- 2 Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 3 Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- 4 Add pecans and stir until evenly coated.
- 5 Drop by rounded tablespoons onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
- 6 Let cool completely before serving.
