- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: 1 teaspoon hot sauce
Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 400°F.
- 2 Season pork chops with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and thyme.
- 3 In a large ovenproof skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear pork chops for 2-3 minutes per side.
- 4 Add potatoes, onion, and chicken broth to the skillet around the pork chops.
- 5 Cover skillet with a lid or foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- 6 Uncover, sprinkle cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and potatoes are golden.
- 7 Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
- 8 Optional: Add hot sauce for a kick.
