- 4 Remove from heat and stir in salt and vanilla extract.
- 5 Pour the hot syrup over the popcorn in a large bowl and toss to coat evenly.
- 6 Let the mixture cool slightly, then use buttered hands to shape into balls.
- 7 Place the popcorn balls on parchment paper to cool completely before serving.
