- 1 (8-10 pound) fully cooked ham
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup bourbon (optional)
Steps
- 1 Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- 2 Score the ham's surface in a diamond pattern, about 1/4-inch deep.
- 3 In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, Dijon mustard, honey, melted butter, cloves, and cinnamon until smooth.
- 4 Place ham in a roasting pan and pour apple cider and pineapple juice into the bottom.
- 5 Spread half of the glaze over the ham.
- 6 Cover with foil and bake for 90 minutes.
- 7 Uncover, spread the remaining glaze over the ham, and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
- 8 For a boozy kick, brush with bourbon during the last 10 minutes of baking.
